HAMM – H 13i Series

Featuring Electronic Machine Managment – Hammtronic

Categories: ,

H series compactors are the high-performance professionals for modern earthwork with a high compaction force. The compactors really showcase their qualities off-road – the three-point articulated swivel joint and the large slope angle front and back make them extremely manoeuvrable whilst ensuring optimum driving stability. Modern motors with future-proof technology ensure extremely low emissions.

Modern construction machines feature a number of functions and are designed for optimum efficiency. Even more essential for success is simple, intuitive operation – this guarantees short training times and incredibly high productivity in every construction project. With Easy Drive, HAMM has therefore developed a standardised operating concept that reduces complexity to a minimum and enables operators to react quickly and correctly in no time at all.

In addition to Easy Drive, Hamm have also introduced Hammtronic. Hammtronic is an electronic machine management system that monitors and controls all key machine functions such as automatic adjustment of the diesel engine speed to meet the power requirements of the individual drives. Hammtronic supports the operator in their day-to-day construction work in order to achieve optimum compaction without compromising on safety, cost-efficiency and fuel savings.

Hamm Compaction Quality (HCQ) comprises a number of Hamm products designed to measure, monitor, document and control compaction and compaction processes. This includes the Hamm Compaction Meter, the Hamm Temperature Meter and the HCQ Navigator. These components continue to determine the rigidity value, the asphalt temperature and the position of the roller throughout compaction. A panel PC (touchscreen) on the driver’s platform then visualises the entire data package in the form of a real-time “compaction map” and shows the roller operator where has already been sufficiently compacted and where further passes are required. The WITOS HCQ Navigator process module also allows you to follow the construction site progress worldwide in real-time.

H 13I (12860 KG)

The H 13i compactor features a 2140 mm smooth drum. Other features include an operating weight of 12860 kg, a three-point articulation joint for outstanding traction and off-road mobility, and high compaction performance thanks to a high line load and big amplitudes. It has a powerful 4 cylinder diesel engine which meets the EU Stage V/EPA Tier 4 emissions standard.

The operator’s platform gives an excellent view of the machine and site surroundings. With plenty of optional equipment to chose from, you’re sure to find the compactor that’s suited to your needs.

H 13I P (13680 KG)

The H 13i P compactor features a 2140 mm padfoot drum. Other features include an operating weight of 13680 kg, a three-point articulation joint for outstanding traction and off-road mobility, and high compaction performance thanks to a high line load and big amplitudes.

H 13I VIO (12610 KG)

The H 13i VIO compactor features a 2140 mm VIO drum. The VIO compaction system allows for vibration or oscillation. In an oscillation drum, two eccentric shafts are fitted at a 180° angle to each other. Both unbalanced masses rotate synchronously, which causes the drum to perform a rapidly alternating forwards-backwards rotational movement. This results in the compaction energy being transmitted forwards and backwards tangentially into the ground below in the form of shear forces. The drum is therefore in constant contact with the ground, which means that permanent static compaction also takes place because of the weight of the machine, as well as compaction caused by the shear forces. The result: Faster, more significant compaction increases.

Other features include an operating weight of 12610 kg, and a three-point articulation joint for outstanding traction and off-road mobility. It has a powerful 4 cylinder diesel engine which meets the EU Stage V/EPA Tier 4 emissions standard.
